EDS works with public health, healthcare, higher education, academic medicine, research, nonprofit, cultural, civic, community based, and other mission driven organizations managing a meaningful evidence, technology, funding, or operations priority.
What does a responsible AI engagement include?
EDS focuses on the use case, operating workflow, evidence, human review, privacy, escalation, ownership, and staff adoption required for accountable use. When custom software engineering, legal review, or specialized cybersecurity work is required, those responsibilities are identified in the scope.
What happens after the form is submitted?
EDS reviews the problem, organizational fit, timing, and requested result. When there is a potential fit, the next step is a diagnostic consultation. A written scope follows only after the problem and responsibilities are clear.
How are timeline and fee determined?
They depend on the result, complexity, urgency, stakeholders, condition of the existing information or systems, and implementation support required. Scope and fee are confirmed in writing before work begins.
How is sensitive information handled?
Access is limited to the approved scope and provided through client authorized systems. Data sensitivity, permissions, retention, and review responsibilities are agreed before any sensitive materials are shared.
