Case Studies

Selected work. Measured results.

Four examples of practical strategy, systems, and data translation.

01 · Responsible AI Strategy

A responsible operating model for an early mental health support concept

Problem

An early mental health support concept needed a responsible operating model before development.

What EDS Did

I translated the research into support logic, human review, escalation rules, implementation requirements, and cost assumptions.

Result

Stakeholders received a reviewable concept with clear accountability and risk boundaries.

Evidence
  • 9+ research sources synthesized
  • Human review and escalation requirements documented
  • Startup and unit cost assumptions developed for review

02 · Morehouse School of Medicine

One operating system for records and recurring work

Problem

Grant funded work, records, deadlines, and recurring tasks were spread across disconnected tools.

What EDS Did

I designed and implemented a SharePoint and Asana system, documented the workflows, and supported adoption.

Result

The team gained one environment for records, ownership, and recurring work.

Evidence
  • 25% faster document retrieval
  • 40% less manual administrative work
  • 90% staff adoption during initial implementation

03 · Oselogbe House of Spirit, Inc.

A grant pipeline built around readiness

Problem

Community impact and funding opportunities were not organized for fast readiness decisions.

What EDS Did

I prioritized ten opportunities, verified key requirements, and built an impact collection system and fact sheet.

Result

Leadership gained a ranked pipeline, a confirmed near term target, and a repeatable evidence source.

Evidence
  • 10 funding opportunities evaluated and prioritized
  • 1 verified 2026 deadline elevated for action
  • 10 organizational evidence categories standardized

04 · Public Health Data Translation

Turning population health analysis into practical guidance

Problem

A complex public health analysis needed to become useful without overstating cross sectional evidence.

What EDS Did

I ran weighted regression in SAS 9.4 and translated the findings, limitations, and implications into a three page brief.

Result

The analysis became practical guidance for screening, referral, access, and future research.

Evidence
  • 10,866 Florida adults in the analytic sample
  • 6.22 adjusted odds for ages 18 to 24 compared with adults 65 and older
  • 18.9% reported a depression diagnosis
